CPL has extensive knowledge of BOPS (Biaxially Oriented Polystyrene) technology and has commissioned production plants throughout the world. BOPS is a clear, glossy semi rigid plastic sheet used extensively for thermoformed trays, cups and containers for use in the food and medical industry. It is environmentally safe and easily recycled. |
The mechanical performance and processing capabilities of BOPS can be enhanced with copolymers. Pigments and other master batches can be used to produce white and pearlescent grades for more dynamic packaging while surface coatings can be applied for improving processing and reduced fogging.
