CPL has vast experience of winding film both of mill reels and slitting which converts films into wound reels so that they can be conveniently processed by both the manufacturer, converter and end user. |
The wound reel must meet several criteria. Its internal stresses must be low enough to avoid distortion of the film, it needs to remain stable during further operations and transport and must be unwindable at high speed. The film processing conditions prior to and during winding are crucial to achieving all these objectives, placing a premium on experience and knowledge of different machines, products, film properties, thicknesses and web widths.
